After last season's super sensational Underwater theme, complete with pearls and shell clutches, Chanel presented another spectacular fashion show for the Fall/Winter 2012/13 collection. The season's theme seemed like a journey to the centre of the earth, complete with shades of the earth like grey, silver, and black. There was a lot of crystal, and the catwalk inside the Grand Palais was decorated by huge amethyst crystals and grey sand. The models walked the stage on crystals heels, wore shiny jackets, outfits adorned with gemstones and even their eyebrows were covered by precious crystals. It was a truly spectacular show which only Karl Lagerfeld could have managed to pull off.
